For Internet Explorer 3
1... Make sure your internet connection is on.
2...Start Internet Explorer 3, press ALT and G simultaneously to open the Go menu and select Read Mail. This will automatically transport you to the Internet Mail Configuration.
3...When in the configuration window click on next and in the new window type in your name (your full name) and your email address. Remember that your email consists of your login name@global.net.mt. (Example: if login = user1, email would be user1@global.net.mt) Click on next.
4...In the next window you have to enter the incoming and outgoing servers which you connect to send and receive e-mail. In both of them you have to type mail.global.net.mt. Click on next.
5...In this window you need to enter both your login name (the one you use in your e-mail) and your password so that when Internet Explorer checks for mail it does not ask you both of them each time. Click on next.
6...In this window you have to mark the type of connection you are making. In case of global net you HAVE to choose "I use a modem to access my email" and in the drop down list below it choose the global net connection. Click on next.
7...You're now ready and all you have to do is click on finish.
