MAIL SETUP

For Netscape 3.01 & Netscape Gold 3.01

1...Make sure your internet connection is on.

2...Start Netscape, press ALT and O simultaneously and choose "Mail And News Preferences"

3...Click on the Servers tab from the above five options.

In the outgoing and incoming mail server type :- mail.global.net.mt
In the news server type in news.global.net.mt
In the POP3 username type in your global net user name (or login name)
Note : Do not change for any reason both the RC directory and the Mail directory.

4...Click on the Identity tab and type in your name (Your full Name)
In your e-mail address box tpye your e-mail address. Example :- user@global.net.mt
where user is your login name. An other important point is to enter everything in SMALL letters.

4...To use Netscape Mail just click on the Envelope Icon in the lower right of your screen then maximize the mail screen so you can read your messages on the lower half of your screen.
